The Challenge
Although the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO) has many participating member-clients (food processors, retailers and farmers), providing consumers with a way of finding out about those members and where their products could be purchased proved difficult. And with a mandate to promote consumption of Ontario organics, the council needed a fast fix.
The Plan
Green Living not only created, executed, managed and promoted an 800-square-foot OCO pavilion at the Green Living Show on a tight three-week schedule, but we researched, wrote, designed and printed a 20-page booklet, Your Guide to Local & Organic Food, and a dual-fold map insert for distribution at schools, festivals and other events.
The Result
Executive Director Jodi Koberinski reports that OCO’s presence at the show was a huge success. The printed materials give the council a stronger, branded identity, and it requires fewer person-hours to communicate its messages. Koberinski says, “Nearly everyone who comes across the booklet says, ‘Thank you. That’s exactly what I was looking for!’“
