As the country’s largest sustainable condo developer, Tridel wanted to promote its Eco Suite, a showcase for green options in flooring, décor, furnishings, energy-saving appliances and smart-home technologies. With four weeks until the grand opening of the Eco Suite at the Reve condo, they focused on construction while we conceptualized the experience and executed the vision.
On site, we used icons, postcards and plaques to graphically highlight the suite’s eco-benefits, from water-saving fixtures to FSC-certified wood cabinetry. We included QR codes so visitors could use smart phones to get more detail about green elements, such as the source for the bamboo flooring. Our team developed a sponsorship package for Tridel’s suppliers, inviting them to support and benefit from the multimedia campaign for the Eco Suite. Working with suppliers, we then designed and created all content for ecosuite.ca, including green features in every room, a video tour and lush image gallery.
The postcards attracted industry leaders from around the world to tour the suite as part of the Green Building Tour at the GreenBuild Expo in October 2011. Both client and sponsors were thrilled with the polished look and interactive nature of the website, which attracted 2,391 unique visitors in the launch month and continues to attract 50 visitors a day.
