In addition to branding and experiential work, Environmental Defence's annual gala is one of their highlights of the year, not only as a fundraising event, but as a highly anticipated evening out. Green Living Enterprises project-managed the event, from securing locally sourced food and wine to arranging thought-provoking stage content. Special guests and keynotes have included former Mayor of Toronto David Crombie; photographer and artist Edward Burtynsky; documentary filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier; musicians Jim Cuddy, Bruce Cockburn and Sarah Harmer; and activist Erin Brokovich.
